Ruby has always had a secret wish to be an undercover agent.
She has successfully been incognito since her arrival due to her diligence in avoiding any photo ops that might compromise her chosen career path. It was only by use of great stealth and a long lens we were able to capture this picture of her as a yearling.
Fortunately for us (but not her career) she was seduced by a new player on the farm, Curbstone Valley Z Tango in 2019. In 2020 she took some time to get her two doelings off to a good start and then planned to resume her stealth training. Her second career choice is of course a family tradition With the arrival of her two little girls she decided to work on the dairy part of her career. After just a few tests she earned her 4*M.
THEN, HE SHOWED UP AGAIN!
She has a weakness for this handsome guy and so the career is on hold again.
She and Tango were proud parents again April 1, 2021. In 2022 she is looking forward to THREE new arrivals with her current flame, OLD MTN FARM JUSTIN QUINN. (two does and a handsome buck)
Maybe we can convince her to get a nice photo if we promise to keep it under wraps. (fingers crossed of course)

WE DID IT!
FINALLY got a photo of Ruby during the Roseburg Dairy Goat Show in 2021!! As you can see by her displeased expression she was not happy with the stealth photographer. We negotiated her photo release on the condition that only a photo of derriere would be shown. She figured in her secret agent mode that would be the most likely view to be seen. (And would provide ample distraction for facial recognition in a line-up) |

Another trip to the RDGA show and we convinced her that her secret agent days were over!
