When Zulily arrived I have to admit her white face markings were not my favorite. But, her incredible structure and dairyness more than compensated for her choice of make-up.
And then she freshened. Oh My! This doe is amazing.
Beautiful attachments and bountiful production. In 4 tests she is at 510# of milk, 32# BF & 20# P. Projected 1175#
She is continuing from her first freshening and producing steadily on once a day milking.
As of 6/26/21: DIM 802, 1654# BF 118# P 74#
I like this doe a lot :-)
2022 notes
Zulily was in a hairpulling fight in January and lost her precious babies three weeks early.
She was determined not to let it affect her career and came into milk anyway. The judges this year were impressed by her strong work ethic and hope to see her again with a new and normal lactation.
This fall she will be bred to Idomeneo with hopes for a doeling to join the herd!
